You decide what may be shared

Some women happily approve full images. Some allow only anonymous details. Others keep every photograph completely private. Each choice is valid, and keeping your images private does not change the care you receive.

Consent should be specific and written. It should never be buried beneath pressure, treated as the price of a discount, or assumed because you said yes to something else.

You are allowed to ask questions before signing anything.

Privacy begins before delivery

Privacy is more than what happens on Instagram. It includes who is present during your session, how the studio is secured, how proofs are delivered, and how personal information is treated.

Marmalade sessions take place in a private Columbus, Indiana studio. The door remains secured during your session, and only the people involved in your experience are present. Your proofing and delivery process is explained in your booking information.

Your physical boundaries matter too

You choose what you wear and how much you reveal. You can decline a pose, request an adjustment, or change your mind. Share any mobility concern, injury, sensitivity, or accommodation that will help you participate safely.

Your session is a collaboration. It is not something being done to you.

• Will my images ever be posted without written permission?

• Who will be present during the session?
• Is the studio private?
• How are proofs and finished images delivered?
• Can I change my sharing preference later?
• How will personal or health information be used?

A trustworthy photographer should answer without making you feel difficult for asking.

No photograph is worth violating a woman’s trust. Your comfort is not an extra feature. It is part of the work.
