“I will help” is vague. Ask whether the photographer demonstrates poses, guides hands and expression, and adjusts for pain or mobility limitations.

Ask what the retainer covers, whether photographs are included, what collections cost, when products are selected, and whether payment plans exist. You should understand the likely total investment before becoming emotionally committed to the experience.

Booking a session should not automatically give a photographer permission to share intimate photographs. Ask how image releases work, whether anonymous sharing is an option, how proofs are delivered, and who will be present.

Your choice to remain private should never affect the quality of care you receive.

Talk about retouching

Ask how the photographer approaches skin, scars, stretch marks, loose skin, body reshaping, and temporary blemishes. The answer should respect your preferences.
